We are scavengers. Nothing is killed for a Chance Encounters piece. We use what has already fallen, shed, been discarded, or been saved: baby teeth, dead bugs, flowers, shells, sticks, and leaves. We preserve those finds in resin and make them into something you can carry.
Every piece is different because every find is different. The marks of a particular season, walk, or place become part of its story.

At a market, it might be fifty dollars. After a show—or when a piece passes from friend to friend or stranger to stranger—it might be a ride to the airport, a promise to shop local, or picking up trash on your next walk. Ask the person who has it. See what happens.
